Building confident skills for compassionate Grief Support.

Strengthening Care Through Grief Education

Grief workshops for teachers and students provide practical tools for understanding loss, supporting emotional well‑being, and creating compassionate classroom environments. These sessions help educators recognize grief responses, offer appropriate support, and foster safe spaces for students navigating difficult emotions. Students learn healthy ways to express feelings, build resilience, and seek help when needed, strengthening the overall school community.

Compassionate Workplace Grief Support

Organizations often face situations where employees are grieving the illness, loss of a loved one, or a major tragedy. While bereavement leave offers short‑term relief, the impact of grief often extends far beyond those initial days. YESS partners with Human Resources to assess employee needs and create a tailored support program. Each program includes training workshops that teach associates about the grief process and equip them to offer informed, compassionate support to peers who are navigating loss.
